Description:

Electronic Arts (EA) is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join its Central Technology Data & Insights team in Hyderabad. In this hybrid role, you will directly support a high-definition (HD) game title currently in active development. Collaborating closely with product managers, backend engineers, game designers, and quality assurance teams, you will turn player telemetry and product logs into actionable insight. You will evaluate game performance, stability, automated test coverage, and bug tracking metrics to improve overall game quality. Additionally, you will build automated data dashboards, leverage machine learning pipelines to optimize player experiences, and utilize generative AI tools to scale internal analytics workflows.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional hands-on experience in data analysis or applied data analytics, specifically within gaming, mobile applications, or high-scale digital products.
  • High level of proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to manipulate and extract insights from massive, multi-tenant datasets.
  • Practical engineering experience developing data models or custom analytics scripts using Python or R.
  • Strong background building cross-functional dashboards and data visualizations inside enterprise tools such as Looker or PowerBI.
  • Foundational experience with (or a strong technical interest in) deploying machine learning architectures, predictive models, and modern Generative AI tooling to optimize data engineering efficiency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present technical data findings as structured stories with practical, actionable recommendations for non-technical game producers and stakeholders.
  • Strong individual ownership and problem-solving skills to manage assigned deliverables, from defining the technical data tracking requirements to finalizing work planning schedules.
